<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system capable of effectively using a radio frequency range allocated by the law in a spread spectrum frequency hopping (SS-FH) communication system. <P>SOLUTION: In the communication system provided with a main device with a radio unit for transmitting and receiving radio waves and a subordinate device having the radio unit for communicating with the main device, the radio unit during communication is the unit provided with a frequency change means for changing a frequency for each time slot of prescribed time.
