<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption according to an instruction to execute the operating voltage of a processor. <P>SOLUTION: This method includes a step a3 for calculating the lowest operating voltage from a lowest operating voltage table with respect to a program after a source program is compiled, the same lowest operating voltage detecting step a4 for detecting the place where the instructions of the same lowest operating voltage continue from the program based on the lowest operating voltage of the instruction calculated from the lowest operating voltage table from the program, and for designating the lowest operating voltage for a target instruction group, and a step a7 for adding an operating voltage control instruction to the leading of the instruction group of the same lowest operating voltage detected by the step a4, and for controlling the operating voltage in executing the instruction group to optimize the program. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
