<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle device for narrow area communication of high-level road traffic system capable of fixing a desirable communication frequency with high efficiency and reliability. <P>SOLUTION: A frequency switching determination means 7 is provided, whereby: a priority sequence for switching local frequencies in correspondence with types of on-road equipment is previously set; a plurality of local frequencies are sequentially outputted at a predetermined cycle in accordance with the priority sequence; a received frequency signal based on a received frequency is compared with a selected frequency signal; and a local frequency outputted from a PLL oscillating unit 6 is fixed, when the received frequency signal is the same as the selected frequency signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
