<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake air device equipped with a structure capable of reducing variations in the amount of intake air between air cylinders, in the intake air device having an independent intake port communicating to each air cylinder through a surge tank. <P>SOLUTION: This intake air device for an internal combustion engine connects the surge tank 1 to independent intake pipes 21a, 21b, 21c communicating to air cylinders 100a, 100b, 100c of the internal combustion engine 100. An intake air throttle valve 200 is fixed in the surge tank 1, and an installing hole 12 inducing intake air adjusted in amount by the intake air throttle valve 200 is provided. Openings 14a, 14b, 14c of the independent intake pipes 21 connecting to a surge tank main body portion 10 are disposed to be opposite to an opening of the installing hole 12, and projected to the opening 13 side of the installing hole 12 with separating from a projecting area projecting the opening 13 of the installing hole 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
