RESIN COMPOSITION AND THERMOPLASTIC RESIN LAMINATE USING THE SAME AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition having excellent transparency, impact strength, rigidity and surface hardness and a vehicular member using the resin composition.

SOLUTION: The resin composition is obtained by dispersing a silica compound having silanol groups on the surface in which a part of the silanol groups are subjected to a hydrophobizing treatment in a copolymer composed of an unsaturated monomer having a functional group capable of forming hydrogen bonds to the silanol groups and an acrylic or a methacrylic acid monomer. A sufficient amount of the silica compound can be compounded in the copolymer by the hydrophobizing treatment. Interfacial interaction between the copolymer and the silica compound can be stabilized by the hydrogen bonds to the silanol groups. A thermoplastic resin laminate having excellent appearance quality can be obtained by using the composition and applied to exterior vehicular trim parts.
