PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate the characteristics of an optical element which is provided with a translucent reflection film on one of transparent members and a reflection film on the other, makes a converging flux incident and has periodic characteristics of asymmetric transmission characteristics. SOLUTION: The optical element which is provided with the translucent reflection film on one of the transparent members and the reflection film on the other and makes the converging flux incident is provided with an asymmetric period filter having the asymmetric period characteristics on the input light side of the optical element.
