PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soundproof power generation device having a draining structure which certainly drains to outside the device the rainwater, etc., intruding from an exhaust gas outlet. SOLUTION: The power generation device 1 is structured so that a cooling wind intake hole for cooling an engine 11, generator 12, etc., is formed in the side plate of a device casing, wherein an exhaust pipe 86 is installed to exhaust the exhaust gas from the engine 11 to outside the casing, and a draining pipe 41 is installed at the undersurface of the exhaust pipe 86, and an external draining pipe 43 is installed in the neighbourhood of the draining pipe 41 and fixed to the lower frame of the device 1, and the draining pipe 41 and external draining pipe 43 are connected through a hose 42.
