PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic support for large-scale facilities. SOLUTION: A wire is U-turned upward by being wound on a supporting pulley, which is provided at a lower end of an intermediate cylindrical body, via a hanging pulley which is provided at an upper end of an outside cylindrical body, raised upward along an inner wall surface of the intermediate cylindrical body, and U-turned downward by being wound on a hanging pulley which is provided at an upper end of the intermediate cylindrical body; and a leading end of the wire, which is wounded on a supporting pulley provided at a lower end of an inside cylindrical body, is fixedly attached to any one of the cylindrical bodies. The telescopic support is additionally provided with a driving means for winding up or down the wire outside the hanging pulley of the outside cylindrical body, and a plurality of guide rollers, which roll by abutting on an inner peripheral surface of the outside cylindrical body, are installed at the lower ends of the cylindrical bodies.
