PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypropylene elastomer which excels in heat resistance impact absorbability, transparency, heat sealing properties and blocking resistance. SOLUTION: The polypropylene elastomer comprises (a) 50-95 mol% propylene units and 5-50 mol% ethylene units, and has (b) a triad tacticity of the propylene unit chain portion composed of a head to tail linkage to be obtained by<SP>13</SP>C-NMR of 90.0%, (c) a ratio of position irregular units based on the 2,1-insertion of the propylene monomer in the total propylene insertion to be obtained by<SP>13</SP>C-NMR of 0.05-0.5%, and (d) an intrinsic viscosity [η], measured at 135°C in decalin of 0.1-12 dl/g.
