<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toners which are excellent in micro-dot reproducibility, deals with a low-temperature fixing system, has a good offset resistance and does not contaminate a fixing device and images. <P>SOLUTION: The toners consist of at least a binder resin, coloring agents and resin particulates and are characterized in that the ratio Dv/Dn of the volume mean particle diameter (Dv) and number mean particle diameter (Dn) of the toners is 1.00 to 1.40; the glass transition temperature (Tg) of the resin particulates is 50 to 90°C and the coverage of the resin particulates existing on the surfaces of the toner particles ranges from 1 to 90%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
