PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device whose display quality is enhanced by lowering the display unevenness of a liquid crystal display and the like and whose power consumption is reduced. SOLUTION: In this display device, voltages corresponding to (k) bits in (i) bits of display data are applied to signal electrodes in one selected pattern period in one selection period.
