<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device using pixels of a configuration capable of correcting dispersion of threshold voltages of TFTs by a configuration being hardly influenced by dispersion of capacitance values. <P>SOLUTION: A voltage equal to a threshold value of a TFT 106 is held by a capacitance means 109, and when a video signal is inputted from a source signal line, the video signal added with the voltage held by the capacitance means is applied to the gate electrode of the TFT 106. Even when threshold values are dispersed pixel by pixel, the capacitance means 109 at each pixel holds its threshold value, therefore, it is possible to eliminate the influence by the dispersion of the threshold values. The storage of the threshold value is performed only by the capacitance means 109, and there is no movement of electric charges at the time of writing the video signal, nor varies the voltage across both electrodes, therefore, the dispersion of the capacitance values is not influenced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
