For the power source device, in the case that the temperature of the outside air exceeds the range of the set temperature, and that the temperature control circuit 2 judges that it should be turned into a temperature control mode, and that the input circuit 6 is turned into a temperature control mode, the heat retention system 3 does not control the temperature of the battery unit 1 if the input circuit 6 is not in a temperature control mode, even if the outside temperature is such a level that the heat retention system 3 should control the temperature of the battery unit 1 and the temperature control circuit 2 judges that it should be turned into a temperature control mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p>
