PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head capable of preventing occurrence of electrostatic destruction and decreasing conduction start voltage in a conductive resin film. SOLUTION: In the magnetic head, a slider 1 having a recording and/or reproducing thin film element 4 is joined with a flexure 6 having an elastically deformable tongue 6b, and the slider 1 and the flexure 6 are electrically connected through a conductive resin film 11. The conductive resin film 11 comprises one kind of conductive material or more selected from the group consisting of carbon particles, carbon nano tubes and metallic nano fine powder, a resin-based adhesive and a metal-based conductive filler, and the conduction start voltage of the conductive resin film 11 is selected to be 1.0 V or below.
