APPARATUS FOR SYNTHESIZING THREE-DIMENSIONAL STRUCTURE DATA WITH GRAPHICS OBJECT, AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE: An apparatus for synthesizing three-dimensional structure data with a graphics object, and a method therefor are provided to express vivid presence by synthesizing a real background image with an appropriate graphics object. CONSTITUTION: A three-dimensional structure extracting unit(100) extracts three-dimensional structure data from continuous real images. An object modeling unit(110) generates graphics object data wanted by a user. A three-dimensional structure processing unit(120) obtains the minimum and the maximum of the extracted three-dimensional structure data for extracting scaling information of the graphics object data. An object scaling unit(130) scales the graphics object data by the scaling information of the graphics object data. An image generating unit(140) generates a synthesized image by projecting the three-dimensional structure data and the extracted graphics object data by an observation viewpoint and object position data.
