Disperse phases from disperse systems. These are obtained by applying electrical charge and electromagnetic pulses. The apparatus has two parallel channels which contain porous carbon disc electrodes which form partition walls. Electrodes form pairs whose discs are at opposite polarity. The liquid is subjected to DC field and to electromagnetic pulses and this completes formation of disperse phases. Parallel channels are used alternately so that one is in use and the other is being regenerated by applying reverse current and by removing sludge. |
