A surgical tool comprising an elongate moulded plastic handle (2) and a tool member (7) having a tip portion (43), the handle (2) defining an elongate sl ot (11,20,34) which is configured to receive and mount the tool member (7) therein, and having an aperture (5) at one end (6) such that the tip portion (43) of the tool member (7) received in the slot (11,20,34) protrudes from t he handle (2) through the aperture (5).
