The shower assembly has a water supply line (1) leading to an outflow pipe (2) with a number of openings (3) to form shower spray streams (4) under them. The outflow pipe has at least one tube (5) with the outlets formed in passage openings (6) in the tube. The water supply line has a change switch to direct the flow to the overhead shower tube(s) or to a conventional shower head (12).
