<p>A process for preparing peppers or the like for consumption, comprising the step of positioning the pepper in an oriented fashion in a holding device, cutting out the stem portion of the pepper, removing the seed portion of the pepper by sucking operation, gas is allowed to enter into the seed space of the pepper in order to compensate for the pressure differences between the inside and outside of the pepper. The invention also relates to an apparatus for carrying out the process.</p> |
