<p>A method of converting a mixing apparatus to automatically coat granular material fed from a suply (6) thereof to a weighing station (20) via a supply duct (8a) with an auger therein driven by a motor (9). Spray nozzles (19a) are positioned around outlet (10) which coat the feed as it falls under gravity into bucket (21). Control means (30) ensure that the coating additive is only sprayed onto granular material leaving outlet (10).</p> |
