<p>Disclosed is a prosthesis for correcting effort-related urinary incontinence in women, comprising one left and one right para-urethral hemi-phrosthesis (1), each of which is made of a biocompatible material in the form of a strip (2). One end (4) of said strip (2) has an extension (5) while the other end (3), called the loose end, is fixed to the aponeurosis of the rectus abdominis muscle. The inventive prosthesis is also provided with fixing means (6) for fixing said loose end (3) to the aponeurosis of the rectus abdominis muscle.</p> |
