<p>An optometric apparatus and an optometric method capable of performing optometry and coping with an examinee having an astigmatic eye by using a computer screen without requiring a special facility. Attributes of the examinee are acquired and an astigmatic axis judgment chart is displayed on the computer screen, so that the direction selected by the examinee is acquired. An eyesight measurement chart is displayed for the acquired direction and the direction orthogonal to that, so that an observation limit selected by the examinee is acquired. A far point distance is calculated from the acquired observation limit. A diopter is calculated by using the acquired direction and the acquired two far point distances.</p> |
