<p>A method for producing a hinokitiol-containing material for improving living environment having porous particles and an oily extract from a tree containing hinokitiol absorbed on pore portions thereof, which comprises a mixed solution forming step of admixing the extract with an alcohol, a adsorption step of admixing the mixed solution with porous particles to allow pore portions of the porous particles to adsorb the mixed solution, and an alcohol removing step of removing the alcohol from the mixed solution adsorbed on pore portions of the porous particles, to thereby prepare the hinokitiol-containing material for improving living environment. The method permits the improvement in the characteristics of adsorption of the oily extract on porous particles and the easiness in the handling of the oily extract.</p> |
