<p>Apparatus and method for control of dimensions of formed building blocks (50) during manufacture. A frame (20) forms an opening (60), through which runs a conveyor (40) carrying the blocks. An elongated, horizontally-aligned roller (30) is positioned a desired distance above the conveyor surface (40a). While the blocks are still in a 'wet' or uncured state, and therefore relatively malleable, they are carried through the opening and pass beneath the horizontal roller, which deforms or 'squeezes' the blocks down to the precise desired vertical dimension.</p> |
