An electronic display which can be held and operated with only one hand and in which a switch for turning the pages, being used frequently, can be operated with only one hand. The two-screen display spread type electronic display electronic book 1 arranged such that a member 3a having one display screen 2a of a spread and a member 3b on the right side having the other display screen 2b are coupled at a central hinge part 4 to be opened/closed about the hinge part and spread in the opposite directions left and right, wherein a rotary switch 5 rotatable about the axis of the hinge part is provided, and a specified operation is performed by rotating the rotary switch. In particular, a page turning operation is performed such that the display of a screen being used frequently is altered to the display of next page or previous page.
