PURPOSE: A system for charging a high way toll and a method thereof are provided to make traffic flow smooth by confirming the numbers of cars and names of driver passing through the toll gate at real time. CONSTITUTION: A car confirming section(10) is installed at an entrance or an exit of a toll gate, and confirms the numbers of cars passing through the toll gate. A mobile enterpriser server(30) obtains and provides the number of a mobile phone(20) of a driver of a car passing through the toll gate by confirming a location of the mobile phone(20). A toll charge server(40) receives a signal from the car confirming section(10) and a signal from the mobile enterpriser server(30), and determines a high way toll. An illuminator controls brightness around the toll gate. A camera device picks-up a front surface of a car entering the toll gate. |
