For the same wavelength, the fibre has a squared ratio linking the effective surface of the fibre to the gradient of the chromatic dispersion, with a numerical value of more than 90,000, and preferably more than 100,000 psim4.nm2.km/ps. At the same wavelength, the gradient of the chromatic dispersion is less than or equal to 0.08 ps/(nm2.km), and the chromatic dispersion itself is less than or equal to 14 ps/(nm.km). The sections of the profile may have equal thickness, or different thicknesses. |
