PURPOSE: Drum structure of a drum type washer is provided to improve washing effect of the drum type washer by making the rear edges of a drum curved and smoothly moving the laundry. CONSTITUTION: A drum type washer includes a cabinet forming an opening in front; a tub installed inside the cabinet, to receive washing water; a drum(60) performing washing actions through a rotating shaft horizontally installed inside the tub; a spider connecting the outer wall of the drum and the rotating shaft of a motor; and plural lifters(70) installed to the inner wall of the drum, to make the laundry move vertically. The drum forms a curved surface at the edges, to prevent the laundry from being tied up at a part of the drum. The drum comprises a front panel(60b) forming an opening(60e) and constituting the front of the drum; a rear panel(60c) disposed opposite to the front panel; and a center panel(60a) installed between the front and rear panels. The rear panel constitutes the rear of the drum. The center panel constitutes the circumferential surface of the drum. Thus, the laundry moves smoothly and the washing effect is improved. |
