PURPOSE: A method for automatically cutting off a call in a mobile communication terminal is provided to automatically cut off a call after arriving at a call cut-off notice time or after a call cut-off time elapses while making the call, thereby preventing unnecessary and excessive calls in advance. CONSTITUTION: A controller decides whether an automatic call cut-off function is set(301). If so, the controller forms a speech path(303), and starts a call(307). The controller displays a call starting time on a display, and displays call duration(309). The controller decides whether the counted call duration arrives at a pre-registered call cut-off notice time(311). If so, the controller generates an alarm signal(313). If the user inputs a call completion key after listening to the alarm signal or the call is completed(315), the controller cuts off the speech path(319). The controller displays the call duration on the display after completing the call(321).
