<p>PURPOSE: A method for managing groups on a star-type network is provided to receive communication channels for managing the groups from a central communication terminal, and to receive and store group information, thereby smoothly performing communication between communication terminals included in the same group. CONSTITUTION: If power of a central communication terminal and general communication terminals is on, the general communication terminals register self supporting application functions in an application functional table(501), and store the functions in an application functional DB. If the general communication terminals request to form communication channels for managing groups of the central communication terminal(502), the central communication terminal sets the communication channels(503), and requests application functional list information of the general communication terminals(504). The general communication terminals retrieve the application functional information(505) to transmit the information(506). The central communication terminal stores the information in a DB(507), retrieves group information in a group information DB(508), and transmits the group information(509). The general communication terminals store the group information(510).</p> |
