PURPOSE: A device for inputting an alphabet on a keypad is provided to apply a method of selecting omitted consonants using basic consonant assigning buttons, thereby easily inputting the alphabet on the keypad. CONSTITUTION: When inputting an alphabet through a keypad, a method of selecting omitted consonants using basic consonant assigning buttons is applied. Various functions are selected by alternately combining buttons where line-shaped vowel factors of Korean character are assigned, for 3 times or more than the 3 times. The various functions are inputted by alternately combining buttons where dot-shaped vowel factors of Korean character are assigned, for 2 times or more than the 2 times. An alphabet having the most frequency is selected as a representative alphabet of each group among many alphabets to be assigned to each button.
