PURPOSE: An apparatus for intercepting a foreign material to an image input section is provided to automatically perform an interception of the foreign material with respect to a camera lens and a lens protective glass. CONSTITUTION: A key input section inputs a command signal which controls opening and closing operation of an operating member(20). An operating section of the operating member(20) opens and closes the cover(10). A control section controls the operating member(20). An operation controller operates the operating member(20) based on the command signal from the key input section and controls the cover(10). The key input section includes a button for instructing an opening of the cover(10), a button for instructing a closing of the cover(10). The cover(10) is installed at a front surface of an image input hole of a lens protective glass.
