PURPOSE: A washing machine is provided to make a user intuitively know the progress of washing stroke by displaying information about the progress time left for washing stroke, through a graph. CONSTITUTION: A washing machine comprises a control unit and a display unit. The control unit makes the washing machine smoothly perform washing stroke and makes other motions normally progressed by controlling general matters of the washing machine. Information about the internal environment of the washing machine including the progress of washing stroke operated according to control of the control unit is displayed on the display unit. The information about the progress of washing stroke is displayed through a graph. The display unit includes plural LEDs(Light-Emitting Diodes) turned on according to the progressing situation of washing stroke. The LEDs are turned on in one direction as washing progresses, and the progressing situation is indicated as a bar graph. |
