PURPOSE: In an EGR cooler to cool an exhaust gas, a cooling water after heating outer temperature is supplied to improve cooling efficiency of the exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: After engine combustion, a part of an exhaust gas is cooled by EGR passage(11) according to noncombustion oxygen amount of the exhaust gas exhausted through an exhaust pipe(9). An EGR valve(13) is opened by an electrical signal of an ECU. An engine oil supplied from an engine oil pump(21) and the exhaust gas passed the EGR valve(13) are cooled in an EGR cooler(15). The EGR cooler(15) is supplied with a heater cooling water discharged after heating outer temperature in a heater(41).
