PURPOSE: A fixing tube and method of for fixing element of high density wavelength division multiplexing filter are provided to relieve a shock of a DWDM filter from an outside by efficiently performing a soldering with an epoxy resin. CONSTITUTION: A dual collimator(20) is combined with a thin film filter(40) using an epoxy resin. The thin film filter(40) transmits only wavelength necessary in an optical signal and reflects a remaining wavelength. The dual collimator(20) inputs and outputs the optical signal. A single collimator(30) is connected to the dual collimator(20) by a fixing tube(10). The single collimator(30) outputs an extracted optical signal. In order to accelerate a hardening of the epoxy resin used for the connection between the dual collimator(20) and the thin film filter(40), nitrogen gas is injected into the fixing tube(10). A glass(24) and a metal(26) enclose an outside of the dual collimator(20) to relieve an external shock. A GRIN lens(28) refracts the optical signal.
