The invented element (1) for sanitary installations comprises a wall-section frame (2) having at least two vertical hollow profiled members (3), between which one or more cross-members (35) are fixed, accommodating fittings etc. A bottom cross-strip (27) forms a frame-supporting foot, and on it is a guide beam (87) parallel to the vertical members, and which slides and is lockable in a guide on the cross-member. An adjustable stop (90,91) determines the distance between the cross-member and the strip. At the guide on the cross-member is a spring clamp, which allows the beam to slide only when a predetermined force is applied. There can be two beams, situated symmetrically in relation to the vertical centre line of the frame, and working in two guides on the cross-member. The latter can be of channel-section, with recesses in its flanges for the guides, there being a connecting plate resting on and secured to the two flanges. The plate has protruding spring tongues forming clamping components bearing against the beams.
|
