PURPOSE: A separator for a lithium secondary battery having high viscoelasticity, energy dispersion ability, elongation and strain stability as well as improved cation mobility is provided. A lithium battery and an electrode used therein are also provided. CONSTITUTION: The separator for a lithium secondary battery is provided as a polymeric electrolyte. The polymeric electrolyte comprises a cationic polymer which can be bonded electrostatically to the anion of lithium salt to fix it, a vinylidene fluoride-hexafluoropropylene copolymer, and an electrolyte solution consisting of a lithium salt and an organic solvent. In particular, the cationic polymer is one or more corresponding quaternary amine salts of a polymer selected from polyethylene imine and polypyrrole, or a lithium substituted polysulfone.
