PURPOSE: A field coil assembly for an air conditioner in a vehicle and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase the productivity by winding a coil on an insulating bobbin without winding the insulating cotton tape, and to manufacture easily by molding the coil bundle in the storage space of a housing and hardening quickly. CONSTITUTION: A field coil assembly of an air conditioner is composed of a housing(10) formed like a doughnut, and composed of a storage space(11) in the edge; a coil bundle(20) contained in the storage space of the housing and wound by a coil(21); an L-shaped bobbin(30) inserted between the storage space of the housing and the coil bundle; a lead wire(40) connected to both ends of the coil and drawn out of the housing; and resin for molding the coil bundle in the storage space of the housing. The productivity is increased by injecting resin gel in the storage space of the housing and hardening quickly.
