A polyester molding composition having a clear decrease in melt viscosity and flowability without impairing its mechanical properties is new. The molding composition contains (wt.%): (a) a thermoplastic polyester (95-99.5); (b) a monocarbonate (5-0.5), where the sum of a and b = 100; and (c) particulate, lake-like, and/or fiber additives selected from: fillers, pigments, reinforcing materials, additives giving the molding composition anti-electrostatic properties, particulate fire protection agents and synergists. An Independent claim is included for a shaped part of composition by injection molding, e.g. a relay structural part, a condenser beaker (sic), a plug connection (sic), a socket strip (sic). |
