PURPOSE: An optical system of a projective image display apparatus into which a diffraction grating is integrated is provided to simply the optical system having such that the optical system has no color filter. CONSTITUTION: An optical system of a projective image display apparatus includes a light source(111) for emitting light, a source lens(112), a thin film micro mirror array-actuated(TMA) module(150) integrated with a diffraction grating, a projection stop(115) and a projection lens(116). The source lens condenses the light emitted from the light source to parallel beams. The TMA module divides a reflecting face of an actuator, which is formed in a cantilever structure such that the reflecting face is deformed according to an electric signal applied to a piezo-electric material, into three regions, splits white light into red, green and blue beams and reflects the beams. The projection stop and projection lens condenses flux of the beams demodulated by the TMA module to project the flux on a screen.
