PURPOSE: A moving object detecting device by using microwave is provided to prevent traffic accidents by sounding an alarm to a driver with detecting vehicles or moving objects in the blind spot during traveling. CONSTITUTION: A moving object detecting device by using microwave comprises a solid state oscillating unit(100) oscillating microwave; a transmitting unit amplifying and radiating microwave oscillated from the solid state oscillating unit; a receiving antenna(130) receiving microwave reflected on the moving body; a receiving signal processing unit subtracting the frequency of vehicle speed from the frequency of microwave of the receiving antenna; a notch filter unit(150) eliminating signals having about zero frequency among frequency difference values; and a detecting unit detecting the moving body according to the output signal from the notch filter unit.
