PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film laminated metal can capable of being enhanced in the design effect of the decoration applied to the outer surface of a can body by novel visual sensation effect. SOLUTION: In the film coated metal can, a thermoplastic resin film 2 is bonded to the outer surface of the can body 1 through a resin adhesive layer 4, and a decorative layer 30 is formed on the can body between the resin adhesive layer 4 and the thermoplastic resin film 2 using pearl ink comprising a resin composition containing a pearl pigment 20 and printing ink comprising a resin composition containing a color pigment. The pearl pigment 10 is constituted by coating a flake 11 with a titanium oxide layer 12 and coating the titanium oxide layer 12 with an iron oxide layer 13 and a printing layer or printing part due to the pearl ink develops different colors by the polarization of the pearl pigment.
