PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for recovering floating oil in cutting fluid capable of efficiently recovering floating oil. SOLUTION: This mechanism for recovering floating oil in cutting fluid is constituted of a cutting fluid tank 1, a pump 2 for supplying cutting fluid from the cutting fluid tank 1 to a cutting machine main body 3, a cutting fluid recovering circuit 4 for recovering used cutting fluid from the cutting machine main body 3 to the cutting fluid tank 1, and an oil skimmer 8 for recovering floating oil in cutting fluid. The oil skimmer 8 is provided in the cutting fluid tank 1. Since floating oil can be recovered at a position in which separating state is excellent, floating oil can be recovered efficiently.
