PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollowing out device in which an equipment cost is suppressed with a simple structure and a metallic plate is accurately hollowed out. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a working table (2) on which a iron plate (1) is mounted, a torch (3) of a plasma cutter which cuts the iron plate (1), and a moving mechanism (4) which moves the torch (3) with respect to the iron plate (1) on the working table (2). The moving mechanism (4) is fixed on the working table (2), and is provided with a first moving body (40) which is freely slidable back and forth and a second moving body (41) which is fixed on the first moving body (40) and freely slidable in left and right direction, and the torch (3) of the plasma cutter is supported on the second moving body (41).
