<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing effect lasting type deodorant utilizing the decomposition/deodorization power of negative ions or the antibacterial power of sawdust (incense cedar) of a pencil in order not only to develop a new way in the effective utilization of industrial waste but also to delay a saturated state being the maximum defect of an adsorptive deodorizing method. <P>SOLUTION: The deodorant 51 is prepared by a first process for pelletizing sawdust 3, a scallop shell powder 4 and a polyvinyl alcohol solution 5, a second process for drying the formed pellets, a third process for infiltrating a negative ion generation liquid in the dried pellts and a fourth process for drying the impregnated pellets. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
