PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for efficiently capturing a metal or a metalloid contained in industrial wastewater of every kind or the like to clean water to be treated and highly concentrating the metal or the metalloid to recover the same, and a method using the same. SOLUTION: A apparatus and system for separation, adsorption and recovery which comprises a process (1) for adsorbing and separating metal ions and semimetal ions using a powdery chelate material, a process (2) for filtering and separating the powdery chelate material having adsorbed metal ions and semimetal ions from a flow channel of a treated liquid by a flexible filter medium and peeling the powdery chelate material used in adsorption from the filter medium by mechanical vibration to feed out the same to a recovery tank and a process 3 for carrying out the metal ions and the semimetal ions adsorbed on the powdery chelate material to the outside of the system while performing continuous treatment.
