PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peeling device by which the operation environment around the device is kept clean, and an operator is secured. SOLUTION: This peeling device 1 has a peeling part 6 at the upper side of a rotary disc 5, and a peeling body 2 having a discharging part 13 for discharging a peeled material, installed in a side part of the peeling part 6. The peeling device 1 has a water-receiving plate 9 installed so as to surround the outer periphery part lower than the discharging part 13 of the peeling body 2. The water-receiving plate 9 protrudes outward from the outer edge part of a guide plate 14 for guiding the peeled material discharged from the discharging opening 13 at the vicinity of the lower part of the discharging opening 13.
