<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head having a low center of gravity easy to raise a ball and hard to hit a ball to right direction or slice the ball even though a beginner use. <P>SOLUTION: The iron type golf club head 1 has the face part 2 having the planar face surface 2f and the hosel part 3 connected to the heel side of the above face part 2, and the shaft insert hole 4 is provided through the above hosel part 3.
