PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To place a stopper plate under the support of a pipe when a wrench tool is dislocated by setting the stopper plate pressing on a side of a nut about a pipe circumference, eliminate the risk that the wrench tool is disengaged from the nut on a pipe joint for the pipe, and enable a quick grip change when a nut of a different size is to be tightened. SOLUTION: The wrench tool for turning a nut on a pipe joint or the like comprises a wrench with a U-shaped opening, and the stopper plate with a U-shaped notch adapted to fit on a pipe. Another wrench tool 40 comprises a single-ended wrench 41, a stopper plate 43 affixed to a head 47 of the single- ended wrench 41, and a wrench 45 having a different size from the single-ended wrench 41. A wrench head 45a of the wrench 45 is mounted on the single-ended wrench 41 so that they hold the stopper plate 43 in between. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
