PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive glass block which can be fusion integrated with a glass formed body without deposition of crystals, satisfies flame insulation performance stipulated by statute as fire prevention equipment and has excellent thermal impact resistance. SOLUTION: The glass of whichΔT=TW (fusion temperature)-TL (liquid phase temperature) is≥40°C and the coefficient of thermal expansion at 30 to 380°C is 20 to 45×10<SP>-7</SP>/°C is used.
